Journalism #1
I’m currently in journalism 1, and so far kind of enjoying it. It seems like the first three days of being in the class, I felt like I was out of my comfort zone. I wasn’t use to being in a responsible class and none of my friends were in it. Journalism sounded hard, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep it as an elective. I thought about it and talked to one of my old teachers about switching out and he told me that it would be good for me if I took journalism. I love to write and I try to do my best when writing. I like to be the best when it comes down to writing. Finding out that I had journalism as an elective, I was quite scared. I thought it was going to be hard and that I wasn’t going to be able to do my task or responsibilities. Now that I’m in my fourth day of journalism, I feel that I need to go ahead and stay committed to the newspaper and my fellow classmates. It wouldn’t be fair to them if I didn’t. Having journalism as an elective, I hope to gain better writing skills. Like before I said I love to write, and I want to be the best. I would also like to learn how to write in different writing skills. Also in journalism I would like to make new friends.
